I bought my entertainment book from my local Borders using 40% coupon. In addition, Borders gives you a bonus $5 gift card for every entertainment book purchased.

$35 - 60% = $21 - $5 GC = $16
Not sure if they're still doing it, but here in central PA our Costco B&M's used to put the Entertainment Books on their book tables every January for about half-price.
Be very careful with expecting FW CashBack from discounted Entertainment Books. I was denied CB on three or four Entertainment Books I got through a FW deal last year. I was expecting them to come out to $5-6 or so after FW CashBack, but I never got that FW CashBack and it's because they wouldn't honor it due to the already-discounted Entertainment book rate. Wasn't too happy about that

you are right...so how did you do it, vholic? I guess it depends if the cashier checks...someone said that it worked because the cashier considered it an "entertainment" book...not a coupon book....but that's kind of a stretch.

I did it last week with the 40% off coupon. I guess I have to add "YMMV" with the Borders coupon. It's worth a try. I wanted the book soon and my last order directly with entertainment book took 2+ weeks to arrive because they sent it by media mail.
The cashier happily scanned the book then my coupon. Then I asked about the $5 gc (per the sticker on the book), she had to call a manager and borrowed a one-page instruction on how to ring up the gc from another cashier. She could be new... this was at Downtown Crossings, Boston.
Btw, I also saw the book at Bed Bath & Beyond. If you need the book soon, that's another alternative by using their 20% coupon.

Yeah...I don't want to wait that long either...once the 40% coupon is out again I will try a few borders and see if I can get it.

They should honor this. This deal is listed right on the Fatwallet cash-back page: $5 off & Free Shipping on 2010 Entertainment Book. (expires 11/16/09) Shop Now »
I can confirm that the Gainesville, FL book is $35 as well. I was considering using the $10 off coupon in the Walgreen's flyer until I saw the base price. I'll wait until it's cheaper later in the year.

I just got an email from entertainment for $10 off + free shipping, only good for 3 days, may only be good for Twin Cities: Link
NothingInMyWallet: I bought the Entertainment book from a Seattle Walgreens for $25 after applying a $10 off coupon printed in the Walgreens' insert ad on Nov 15.
