There will be a 42" Sharp TV product #504638 on sale Saturday at WalMart for $498 plus tax. I checked at WalMart and that product number is associated with Sharp 42" model LC42SB45UT. You can see it here:

Either that, or he's psychic.

from a SD post.

Here is the spy shot.

This Saturday ? What is special about the day?Xbox360 price is good too..99 usd after 100 Usd GC

The proce of under 500 is good, but this is the only non-Aquos Sharp still in the line up. Might want to wait for Blackfriday for a similar deal on the Aquos. Actually got this one on B-Friday last year for under 600.

$599.99?

Was someting like 565 with free shipping and no tax. Would have to look for the receipt (which I probably lost by now).

Looks like they may have a 46" Sharp for $698 and a 52" Sharp for $898 as well in the 'spy shot'

Picked this above the item list:
. 2 associates to drive attachment sales assigned to Action Alley
. 1 associate at the front to direct traffic to the event and manage any ... <lost in pic> ... the items in the event and where they are located
Looks like Wally corporate gives directions on how to handle sales.

I just hope there is more than 1 person responsible for handling the traffic - dont want to hear about any more stampedes.

Last year I went to WallMarrt at about 10AM - did not want any hot item; just wanted a luggage set.
Even though it was 5 hours since the sale started, my local Super-WallMarrt had 'Manhattan peak hour walk traffic' (is there such a phrase?) - I was shoved all around the place before I finally ended up near the luggage sets.

BTW, the luggage set itself was not that good. I ended up returning it.

Actually, I heard a WalMart ad on radio yesterday about the $788 Panasonic Plasma TV deal this Saturday. This morning was the $298 laptop. I bet I'll hear another on tomorrow morning.

So what time on Saturday. If the store is 24 hours, then when do the sale prices start?

I'm a plasma guy but thats a GOOD PRICE on an LCD. GREEN OP.

Same here, a plasma guy but this is such a good price that I will be telling a few friends who's in the market for tvs. Thanks for the heads up!

Can you do return rebuy now?

Great Deal

A return rebuy would be nice..So I don't to get up at 5am...Could use this tv for my kitchen..since it is a very sunny room..This

LCD would be good for me...I'll stop by wally world tomorrow to check out the tv

I've been in the market for a good deal on a 360. Don't really need one but have been wanting one. I know this is a pretty decent deal, but what are the opinions on getting one before BF?? Think I'll find a better deal closer to then or should I jump on this?? Thanks in advance!

How about the 46" and 52" Sharps? Any reviews? I've been looking at Samsung and Sony, but that price looks darned good too. Anyone know anything about a Sharp LCD sold at WalMart? Good quality or cheap build?

What does everybody think about that bluray price ($148)? Should I pass on it and wait for BF?

The spyshot shows Week 41? Week 41 has passed already for 2009. When is this sale?

jhpurchases said: The spyshot shows Week 41? Week 41 has passed already for 2009. When is this sale?
They're probably not counting the weeks by the general calendar, but their fiscal calendar. As you can see on the spy shot at the bottom, the "execution" dates for various tasks for this sale are dated 11/2 and 11/4. Saturday is 11/7.

Edited to add:
http://investors.walmartstores.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=112761&p=irol-calendarfinance_pf
WalMart's fiscal year begins February 1 and ends January 31.
That would place week 41 starting on 11/8, next week.

Just exactly HOW are WalMart promoting this so-called sale?
Personally speaking, with just 4 days to go I think it's a non-starter!

Since the op said it starts Saturday....
For 24 hour stores that would be 12:01 am Saturday.
If you go midnite Saturday, then you will be 24 hours late.

The ad on yahoo.com says it starts Nov 7 at 8 AM

So many low price deals on high ticket items this year it's like jackpot. Although some deals you can't think twice on them though!
