I'd recommend spending the extra $30 and going for the EX490 at beach camera: Link
It has a 1TB drive, plus Mediasmart 3.0 software, while the EX485 comes with 2.5. 3.0 will be available as a $25 upgrade, but you're then you're only saving $5 and you've got a slower processor, 250GB less, and no SATA port multiplier.

Can't say I disagree...didn't see that one posted. Nice deal!
The deal at Newegg just got better. They added a 1 TB hard drive without raising the price!!!! This makes this a much better deal.

Does anyone know if I can use this to remotely back-up my local PC? In other words, can I put this at my brother's house and have it automatically back up my home PC (kind of like Mozy or Connected Backup) so I can have automatic remote backup of my PC? Thanks.
