Gave it a shot.

Since almost 200 people had already viewed this thread I'm not getting my hopes up.

Thank you to the OP, it will be an awesome one for anyone who makes the 200

I got my fingers crossed...if this comes you the man!!

hey - someone needs to update if they actually receive this! it would be interesting to know!

In 4 1

Wow...very generous! Too bad it's too late now.

so weird.. it didnt ask for captcha code or anything... gave it a try though

good luck. I got this email at abotu 1:30pm today. I didn't notice until 1:51, so I was 20 minutes late (assuming the email came instantly). I'm not holding my breath for being in the to 5000 much less 200.

200 times 100 is 20 grand that they are giving out. That is a chunk of change to give away.

I'm assuming I'm too late but this would be a great gift for me!

Free money that's if the card comes though?

If you think about it they would not have that up if it was not true, plus they are probably monitoring it very closely as its big $$$ You know what I mean That be so cool if I got one as i'm low on money right now.. An they would take it down onces its over as I once tryed to get a sample and they said due to overwhelm responses this promo is over... I bet it shuts down it auto shuts down after 200 sign ups if you know what i mean.

But Good Luck to everyone!! An God Bless!

You'd better believe that the employees who put that survey up for SC Johnson already told their family (or friends) about it first! Geesh. They should just take that offer down already.

If you have received a gift pack from Right@Home™ said: in the last 180 days, you are not eligible for this month's offer.

This disclaimer is most likely why the offer's still up...Since the promo came out in an email to Right@Home™ subscribers, many are not eligible (like me) to receive the GC...If you've won something from them , it might be wise to enter someone you know hasn't won lately... I'd much rather have a GC than the Ziploc bags & coupon they sent a few months back.

yeah, wake up, everyone.
don't day dream any more.

Lol its dead now 3600+ views

ya never know....it said good luck when i entered.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble but this was posted yesterday on another board at 5:00 P:M and has over 2,500 hits. This was for the first 200 so because it was posted here over 3 hours later the deal is not just dead but dead as a doornail.

yeah, or when it reaches 200!

I received the email for this promotion at 4:23pm eastern time, signed up at 4:30p.....hopefully I'm a lucky one!

You ever arrive dressed up with a bottle of wine to a party just as it's getting over? Yep, that's me here.

"Gift cards available until November 30, 2009, or while supplies last. Only 200 gift cards available."

November 30? Are they kidding?

OK, this is weird! I know their offers are legit, but my e-mail is dated Wednesday, November 4, 2009 9:04 AM.

They limit their offers: If you have received a gift pack from Right@Home™ in the last 180 days, you are not eligible for this month's offer. But I don't think I had a chance. It'll be a happy black history month for 200 somebodys.

At this point, they just collected my address/names/DOB in exchange for the hope that I'd be one of the 1st 20,000 and they'd extend the offer to at least that many.

I can assure you they will not stop the offer after the first 200 respondents. Their goal is to get as many names, addresses, and emails as possible. So if 40,000 people register, they will have only spent 50 cents per name/address. Not only do they get names and addresses, they also get email addresses, dates of birth, and potentially, phone numbers. This information is very valuable. They can use it for marketing their own products; they can also sell this information to numerous other companies for top dollar. An investment of $20k could easily turn out to be money well spent.

I've been doing SC Johnson deals for years...never had a phone call or any kind of spam that I can prove came from them. They have been most helpful with any consumer related problems I've had, whether it was a rebate or a "new & improved" cleaner that turned my kitchen floor purple...They were
extremely concerned with that...luckily a little bleach cleared it up...they sent me many coupons, and followed up...and that product disappeared after a few months.
