I have this. Good card. No QAM, but it can still get cable channels if you have a cable box. I am using it to watch TV on my iPhone with the Air TV app.

From Newegg.com Customer reviews: Linky "No QAM Support USB works with windows xp, vista, windows 7 beta, windows 7 RC both 64 and 32 versions. Works with Windows Media Center."
Really? You'll be holding on for a long time to get a usb QAM tuner with an antenna (crappy) and remote (even crappier) for $19 plus shipping.

Hauppauge! Is better since it has it's own software. ATI TV Wonder had issues in the pass don't know how they're today? I'll pass on this deal! Thanks though.
I use this same Tuner, got it on Black Friday a few years back. I can verify it DOES WORK with Windows 7 x64 Final. But it's a pain in the butt to get the drivers installed. You have to install the drivers with the installer from the website, and then open the program files folder and find/run the Install_USB drivers installer before it will work. (Unless they've updated the website version). It's really annoying and I have to mess around with it a bunch before I remember how to do it (installed on B1, RC1 and now final). But IT DOES WORK and this is a great tuner!
Guys Woot photo seems to show x4 connectors (s-video + 3 RCA type) plugged into side of body.
At least that's what it looks like, but I can't be sure. Does that thing detach, does it plug in, or are all four of those things permanently connected? I don't need s-video or the RCA connections. Would like to be able just to unplug . . . if that's possible.

How could you do that? Thanks
you run a coax cable from your cable box to this USB tuner. I believe that he still has to change channels on the Cable box. I use a different set up. I dont even run it through a cable box, I just plug the coax cable directly to my tuner card. Then scan for channels on my pc. I use ORB (google it) to stream audio or video to whatever you want (laptop, iphone, smartphone, pda, other pc,) I get the same 60-70 standard def channels that I get on my home tv. (no high def) and I am able to change channels from my smartphone or laptop.
Note that the Amazon review of this item are decidedly mixed. Lots of people love it, lots of people have problems.
For those of you wondering, I have a AverMedia Volar Max USB ATSC TV tuner hooked up to my Netbook (Aspire One, 1.6 GHz Atom), and I can watch hi-def broadcast TV just fine. Assuming that this is comparable, there should be no problem running on a decent netbook (I am not sure about the older ones with 900 MHz Celerons).
Got one for the lappy so we can watch football while camping... LOL
Strange, we bought a Dell Mini w/TV tuner option, and those rabbit ears were one of our favorite things about it. No remote, so if this one works, it will be even better!
