Reviews on Meritline.com make it seem that the power supply included with this device is iffy. I think I'll pass, and wait for a higher-quality, branded version of this type of adaptor, like the Vantec.

I bought 2 of these. The power supply on the first was DOA. The power supply on the second died during the first use. I have a Vantec kit that I have been using for years and it has never let me down. I've also seen the Vantec kits for as cheap as $15 so I would definitely hold out for a better quality kit.

Any link for that? Thanks!
