Nice pricing, but by "full color" I think they mean "colored clip-art." Not exactly the "coolest" layout options. Nice for basic needs tho. Thanks Butcherboy.

Try clicking on Customize, choose Styles & Themes tab, Create Your Own, click on one of the layouts (note that one is blank if that's easier as a place to start) and it takes you to the "Design Studio" editor that lets you modify the type and add images. If it works the way it appears to, you can do a lot with it.
So you can have any graphics you want, or none - just a simple text style (and you can choose the type size and style).
I can't believe OD sells business cards like that. Unless you're a kindergarten teacher or work in daycare, these aren't exactly "professional". I would never hand out a card like this to any prospective clients.

I bet they sell plenty of them.

Not so simple. you can add jpgs but not a nice normal template like you would on other sites. also every time i tried to add a jpg it wouldnt allow it.

Why do I feel like I walked onto the set of American Psycho?
(incidentally, that remark was not aimed at the person posting; just made me recall that scene where they're all passing around business cards and getting jealous over each other's fonts/paper/etc. )

The deal sound awesome! I use a lot of business card(mail-order) and it is great if I can use my own artwork. Does anyone know when the coupon expired?
i don't understand the comments about quality/look/feel if you can upload your own design, which i did, and choose from a variety of paper options. mine came out to $13.78 total for 500 cards. added a few upgrades. still can't beat the price. and yes, they will look professional because i designed them! ;D

Is it because of the color, template or quality of the paper or all of the above? Do you know how it compares to VistaPrint?
MasterRebater said: Great deal, thanks OP. I almost (but not quite) feel guilty about getting 1000 of these cards for under $4. You've received nothing at this point. Who of the OD regulars thinks this has much of a chance? Honestly asking, I don't use OD that much.
Is the site getting hammered or do I just have a bad internet connection. Got the card design done and went to check out. Stalled and could not recover.
Thanks so much! I got in this a LONG time ago and ordered 250 of their B&W raised cards. I was pleasantly impressed with the quality. I just took the opportunity to get some plain white cards with my name and new cell number. Can't beat 1000 cards for $4.xx!
Nice deal! I print out cards with my phone, fax, and email just for contacts, handing out to people I meet, etc (it's a Google Voice # so I still screen calls) but it's a lot easier then waiting for them to pull out their blackberry or whatever and running down your info.
This works as advertised. Total price $3.69 including tax. I have been waiting for a good deal ever since I did a free batch of VistaPrint a looong time ago. I hope these Office Depot cards look good!

Man I may be too late. I get an application error when I try to add to cart. Can anyone else confirm this? I wonder if they sabotaged it so we couldn't get cards for .004/ea
Awesome deal, I was just about to order some premium cards from VistaPrint, but glad I waited. I have a full color design already, but I need cards for my business partner and I. Can I get 2 versions of the same design (one for each of us) on the same order (500 + 500 or 1,000 + 1,000) or do I have to place 2 sep. orders?
What about 10% CashBack from Bing... I assume it will be denied with use of coupons?
That XnView is a pretty cool program... I can view my PSD and EPS files in there from my Graphics Designer, and I don't have to buy Photoshop now... thanks!
