Lowest price I've seen for this item. Lets you control your Playstation 3 using your Harmony remote (and probably other universal remotes, but it's designed for Harmony).

I bought a "Nyko Bluwave" remote for my PS3 so I could use my Harmony with it. It's only $17 at Amaz0n. Toss out the remote and just use the IR dongle in the front of the PS3.
Amazon Link Instructions are in the product reviews.
Had a feeling someone was going to mention the Nyko. Yes, you can do that, and it's a good cheap solution, but it doesn't support all the remote functions. The Harmony solution supports all functions on the Sony remote, plus it can do power on/off.
Do you all think the PS3 controller is really all that diffcult to use for movies? I've never had any problems with it, certainly not enough to spend money on a "solution."
Depends on how many AV components you have. I have an amp, receiver, ps3, HDDVD player, TV, cable box and HTPC all controlled by my harmony. It's nice only having one remote out vs 7.

Fine, but the whole point of owning a Harmony remote in the first place is to have everything one one remote. If you don't like that idea, then why even post in this thread?
It's $52 on Amazon, with no tax and FS. Unless someone can show me hwo to get the $41 price to show up on Dell, Amazon is the better deal since its no tax and FS
Actually, I am a universal remote kind of person, I have a Harmony "One" remote that has replaced 4 other remotes. That said, I just don't see the "deal" in essentially spending as much money on an accessory for a universal remote as you may have spent on the universal remote itself just so you can add limited functionality for one more device, which you will have to go and use the controllers for anyway if you want to do anyting other than watch a movie. Different strokes...

Ummm...there is no limited functionality. This accessory allows you to do everything with your Harmony remote that you could do with the real Sony PS3 remote. You should do your research first before speaking on a product you clearly know nothing about.
The PS3 is tough. I bought a Bluwave and used my Harmony hoping that I'd be happy, but there's just not enough control and the IR receiver kind of sucked, so I went back to the PS3 controller. This isn't ideal in the dark and one wrong move (bump it with your knee) and you totally interrupted the movie experience. The best setup would be to have my backlit Harmony control the PS3 using the same buttons that I'm familiar with from my other devices. Problem is, I just don't want to spend $40+ for this convenience, so I'll continue to use the PS3 controller and wait for a cheaper solution.

Sorry, I didn't realize this would allow you to play PS3 games or surf the web with a Harmony remote.
The Blu wave adapter replicates every button on the PS3 Dualshock controller except for the "PS" button. It has everything you need to watch a Bluray or a DVD. It won't turn on the PS3, but that's not a big deal since the act of inserting a disc turns it on anyway.
I own this one and it works great. This gives you all options to run your Logitech harmony remote except power on. But when you go and insert your movie/DVD, your ps3 turns on by itself. Plugs into your front USB port. Its $19.95 Adapter
But if you want power on function, there is this adapter for $39.95 Adapter
