Copper core is the one which has the interior layer copper and sainless steel on sides. Very well made heavy pans, its fun to cook with them. I have 2 pans in this line in my all clad collection and I always reach for there copper core pans. The 2 qt saute pan is $169 on Amazon and the 2 qt sauce pan is $222. Looks like $99.99 is a very good deal for either one of them. They have other all clads on sale too.

haha on first look i read "Core 2 Quart" as "Core 2 Quad" =p

site is getting hammered or they took the sales down, i can't load anything in that sale section.

i have both, amazing cookware.
great deal OP!

No they still have it! Link is working fine for me.

When I tried to check out it gives me error 404, I can't check out anything

Do these work with induction cooktops?

-Tri

I had the same "404" error at checkout. I think it has to do with Firefox and/or pop up blockers. Anyway, I switched over to Safari, and the checkout went fine!

GREAT deal on GREAT cookware (already have the huge frying pan, cooks unbelievably well and even).

it's showing me a 404 error.

I'm having trouble getting the page to load to see exactly which version these copper cores are, but my guess would be no. All-Clad's legacy copper core line is not induction compatible. However, they have recently launched a cooper clad line (CIA Masters Collection) that is supposed to be the first copper core cookware in the world that can be used with induction stovetops. All-Clad calls them "induction ready." My guess is that Bloomie's is clearing out the legacy line to make room for the new induction ready, hence the sale.

ETA: despite All-Clad's official position on the original copper cores not being induction compatible, there are reports on various forums from folks whose All-Clad copper cores do work on the induction cooktops, but YMMV. I think that the acid test is whether you can get a magnet to stick to the bottom of the pan (as you probably already know). So maybe you could order it online and return it to your local B&M if it fails the magnet test.

Thanks OP. I am in for two of each. The prices on the other items are okay, but the prices on the Sautee and Sauce Pan are outstanding. Order 4 and you get free shipping. You can still return the extra ones if you don't want them. They would be great for wedding presents. The sale is tomorrow only in my local stores. I doubt these will last long.

Great Deal OP...if you buy 6 or 3 each you get free shipping and a free dutch oven!!!

tyop!

Anybody find any cheap item to add to an order to get free shipping? I'm 3 cents short

EDIT: I found a way to do a search within a price range ($0 - $1). The cheapest item was a $1 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a useful filler

anyone checked B&M ?!

I received one of the two items in my order. Then this:
