Great deal! I got in on this the last time and received my 1st copy a couple weeks ago. Decent content and not an over abundance of ads. Now do i really want to jump in for another 2 years that is the question?

You do realize that the ads are why these magazines can afford being sent to your house for less than the cost of postage, right?
Wonder what MaxPC will do when the new FTC truth in testing regs kick in in December. For the last 3 years there have been some very serious differences between their results and those posted by places like Lawrence Berkeley Nat. Labs, Oak Ridge NL and Los Alamos. Dell for that matter had a 40% difference between their SPEC scores and Maximum PC's results. Dell's proprietary test scores for Barcelona kicked Harpertown around the block.
Excellent! I only had one year left on my sub. I hope they keep publishing for a long time. I now get PC mag online and I still have all the way back to July to read yet. I prefer a real magazine to hold in my hands. Unfortunately Computer Shopper quit publishing totally and I got automatically switched over to Esquire magazine. They doubled all the subs so I think I am going to get that until 2017. Unfortunately its not much of a women's magazine but they do have some good photos .

I called and got them to transfer my remaining time from esquire to Popular Mechanics. Esquire has too many fancy fashion ads for my tastes.
I have always enjoyed Maximum PC as a giveme from a friend, but its about time I had my own subscription --right price-- in for 24 months! Hope it stays around.
Just seeing how long previous customers have had to wait for their subscription to start...I purchased a subscription to PC Gamer from Tanga back in July and have yet to receive my first magazine. Emails to Tanga go unanswered. I realize it may be in PC Gamer's court, but I wanted to confirm that Tanga had sent the order their way.

Similar situation here. Bought 2 great magazine deals on Tanga during August and still no show. Maybe the mags will show up after 8~12 week wait.
