You can use Amazon visa to get another $6 off. FYI: Also confirmed that Amazon Visa doubles warranty upto one year on items.
Update: 9am EST deal was dead in couple of minutes or so. We get another shot at 3pm EST
Note that you must get 199.98 as the price when submitting the order and in the follow up email. If the price is 199.99, that means you dont get the $100 GC.

Unless you're also installing a mod chip, you'll at least need to buy Microsoft's 20GB snap on drive. From there, you can Ghost the image to a 120GB for less than buying the full blown drive.

there is also an xbox 360 starter pack: Link includes 60gb hdd, headset, ethernet cable & 3 month xbox live. pretty good choice if you want to spend the $100 gift card there
Got one too. Came up at $199.99 though, even if I went through the Gold Box link which said $199.98.. Hopefully there's no problem with the $100 promotional code offer. No tax + free ship = good deal!
What are you guys talking about? WalMart also has the deal online and you can use 10% bing cash. SD reports they are only taxing $99 plus $9 shipping, so the WalMart online deal is better after CB than the Amazon deal IMO.

No worries if you did not get it this time around. Looks like they are doing another one in 6 hours. So be quick with the mouse clicking!

Same, mine came through at 199.99 though I went through the GB deal. Hope it doesn't mess up the promo.

Check your receipt. If your invoice did not say LIGHTNING DEAL -0.01 making your total $199.98, then most likely you won't get the $100 promotional GC. Better cancel and wait for 3pm EST.

Need confirmation on this.. I added it to my cart and checked out with a CC already added to my account so I know I made it in time. By the time I checked out and went back to the page with the percentage bar, it said 67% claimed.

I got it within the first 2 minutes and it doesn't say lightning deal on my receipt. After I ordered, it still showed only 84% claimed. No way will I cancel, it will be ok.

Same here but my price shows $199.99 which doesnt have the Gold Box discount.
arribasn said: really? I used the goldbox link and initially it had the -0.01 but not at final check out, did others only get charged 199.98 instead of 199.99?

This is what I have for my invoice (it shows the $0.01 lightning deal discount)
Item(s) Subtotal: $199.99 Shipping & Handling: $0.00 Lightning Deal: -$0.01 ----- Total Before Tax: $199.98 Estimated Tax: $0.00 ----- Grand Total: $199.98
I just confirmed with Amazon that if clicking through GoldBox, your order came to $199.99, you are still getting the $100 Amazon GC in 7 days. Computer entry error on their part.

I'm not sure it'll fly since some people do have an official line in their order confirmation, but I'm not ready to cancel just yet.. I'm hoping they got slammed and things didn't go as smoothly as they thought it would. We'll see I guess!

I heard different via CSR as there's supposed to be an email to those who got in on the deal regarding qualifying for and when they'll receive the promotional credit.
Anybody received the extra confirmation email about the gift card?
