Heck, why not buy 100 sets...don't want or need them, but what a bargain

Thanks OP...in for one set! Was thinking about skipping the humidor...don't really need it do you?

edit: ah yeah this set for $10+$5 shipping is a much better deal apparently, comes with a Humidor at $10 and the MSRP is double the other set.

Got my cigars today. Humidor is pretty nice; the top fits very snug. Does anyone know where I should stick the humidifier inside the box? I'd like to stick it on the inside top but I don't know if it will drip??

If you fill it properly it won't drip. Fill with distilled water, turn face down on a paper towel for a few mins and you should be fine.

Am I supposed to unwrap the cigars and put them in the humidor right away? Also i'm unable to grasp how the humidifier thing works just looking at it once - It's a foreign object to me. I can probably figure it out, though. How long will the humidifier do it's job?

You don't have to unwrap the cigars - it's a personal preference. This very basic explanation of humidifiers may help.

so i don't really need to use the humidor at all, eh? Probably won't smoke all of these for a long time.

Most cigars are shipped dry. (or wet)

Cigars belong in a humidor to breath

so they will not burn hot and fast.

Here is how to "season" a new humidor LINK

If storing more than 20 or premiums

investing in a better humidor with a

hygrometer to monitor the humidity is good. CI Humidors LINK

You don't need to unwrap them but you do need to put them in the humidor and use the humidifier to keep them from drying out. Sorry I wasn't clear about that. The link I posted was just to explain how the humidifier works.

You must be buying cigars from Thompsons if they're shipped to you dry. Most cigars are actually shipped to you OVER humidified so they don't dry out during delivery.

You need to purchase from a better source.

Hmm, it says limit one per customer... they let you order 3 anyway?

Received mine. Cigars were almost used at packing, plastic wrapped outside the humidor between the cardboard.

I understand what another person said. Where do you attach the humidifier.
Inside the box is all wood. No lacquered inside top to attach the double sided tape to.
Taping to bare wood, seems it wouldnt stay long. Especially when it gets humid.

Great deal OP!!!! Still like it

Just ordered 6 sets for $71.50 with 2nd day air shipping! THanks

in for 2....thx OP. 2 xmas gifts down.

cigars are great

Deal is dead!!! No longer working. I guess they finally figured it out!

Missed the good deal but got one for $25, free shipping for a gift.

Thanks OP.
