None of the thomas stuff is worth the money you pay. It is like crack for toddlers.
I bought it about a month ago too, thought it was a good deal. The lights and sounds was going for $18 at the time. $18... now that is a rip off.

This is not the same engine that you can get from Learning Curve for $2.99. This is the Lights and Sounds engine, which is usually at least $12. This is a good price for this engine.

Correct... this one chugs when you push it, and of course has lights. Doesn't sound like much, but the young thomas fans really love them.
If you search google products you can find percy and james lights and sounds for cheap too.
