This is a great deal on the BEST pocket HD camcorder....I used to have it and its better then the flip and also better then the new kodak zi8 which I bought and returned right away.....I have a panasonic camera now that does 720p and it is better then the vado hd but it cost 3 times more........
You know..... was not looking for this AT ALL but after reading some reviews and realizing this would be a great incentive for the wife to record the kids more by having this in her purse; I am in. The Canon HD camcorder is just "a little too big" for her purse causing lost moments...
Thanks OP!

You guys need to know this is the 1st gen Vado HD, not the newer 2nd gen.

What's the difference?
Creative has introduced a 2nd gen Vado HD, which is newer than the one featured in this deal.
What's the difference other than the name? As far as I can tell, the so-called "2nd gen" camera comes in different colors. Price is $60 higher with no difference in image quality or any other technical features.

Wow talk about stating the obvious... basically you answered johnny98's question with.. well um the 2nd generation is different from the 1st generation because it is 1 generation newer, lol... But technically the two are very similar except for the newer colors for the 2nd generation. The so called 2nd generation goes for around $150 on am@zon.com so this deal is quite hot.
