I've seen a lot of good reviews, but there are some, maybe just a few, where people have said their money for the warranty was refunded and SquareTrade wouldn't honor the warranty and reimburse the cost of the item or get the item fixed. I don't have all the facts though.

VERY weird about the state exclusions. I live in Maine and purchased a warranty from them about a year ago. I just purchased a new 3rd gen iPod touch Saturday and was looking forward to getting a warranty from them.
Hi! I use them all the time and so far, they've honored my two claims by just refunding the purchase price to my PayPal account. I love Square Trade and recommend it to everybody! Just my personal experience with them!
