I have one just like this, but with a different label. It works quite well. It actually weighs about 2# heavy, which is a good thing for luggage and air flights. We go on cruises and have BIG suitcases, and when I load one up until the scale says 50#, I don't have to worry because I know that it will weigh out at abouy 48# at the airport.

I dont see any advantage to have incorrect weight with this thing In addition to that if somebody has bathroom scale it is really easy to check luggage weight. You weight yourself and then weight yourself holding luggage. Gives you much more accurate weight, than this +/-2lb scale.
