I just did this deal, bought a Canon SX200 camera from st@ples, used e-junkie coupon, price match to Amazon.com. So here is my math:
$349.99 <- St@ples online price Canon SX200 @ Staples $297.87 <- After price match with Amaz0n +$14.99 <- Amaz0n 2-day shipping as claimed by the st@ples phone agent $282.86 <- After $30 off $150 e-junkie coupon +$4ish <- Coupon Cost -------------------------------------------- $286.86 <- Total before GC rebate -$50 <- Staples $50 Gift card -$20 <- Canon MIR Loyalty rebate -------------------------------------------- $216.86 <- Total after rebate +$22.75 <- Tax
Canon loyalty rebate details: As an exclusive offer to our registered EOS and PowerShot customers (who have registered before October 12th), a $50 mail-in rebate is available if you purchase and register a Rebel XS, XSi, T1i, 50D, 7D or 5D Mark II; or a $20 mail-in rebate is available if you purchase and register a PowerShot camera* between October 12, 2009 and December 31, 2009.
After getting off the phone with st@ples agent for price match, I checked 2-day shipping with amaz0n and it is $11.97 for me, I don't feel like to call again. It'd be ~$15 nicer if someone can pull the price match without the 2-day shipping or at lower.
I know fatwalleters can come up with deals on other cameras, as the st@ples $50GC rebate is valid on most cameras $149+ and the $20 loyalty rebate is good on most powershot (or $50 for EOS cameras). Now I don't have to stay in line on Black Friday
Good deal, thanks! I did this last night and it was very easy. I forgot to print out the page about the $50 gift card and now the link isn't there. Do you by chance have the PDF file or a link to find that?
