I agree - had this in my cart, but after looking at the reviews I would rather spend a couple bucks more and get one that works reliably. Here is a link to the Amazon Reviews.
If you live near a Harbor Freight, I'd recommend just getting their digital volt meter. They often have coupon specials on it for $2. Harbor Freight DVM

Thanks OP, in for 1. I have a Digital meter and I will check out this tester myself. It's only 3 Bucks, used fast PayPal checkout. Life's too short to believe every reviews you read.
