Hmmmmmmmmm phone with contract for next to nothing + $100. Cancel the contract. It's like a $75 cancellation fee (assuming you have a use for the GC on Amazon)

Deal has started. Updated post with eligible models.

When you purchase your device with service from Amazon.com, we automatically pass along an instant discount from the carrier to you. This discount has been provided to you based on your agreement to (a) activate a new, or extend an existing, line of service for this device with the carrier, and (b) maintain this service in good standing for a minimum of 181 consecutive days. If you do not activate or extend a line of service in connection with this device, or if your service is canceled/disconnected before 181 consecutive days, Amazon.com will charge you $250 per device, plus applicable taxes.

Has anyone gotten this to work with Sprint for an upgrade?
It seems that Amazon does not do upgrades for Sprint, although the deal seems to be valid for upgrade phones.
The WalMart deal, on the other hand, does not seem valid for upgrade phones.

Any help would be great! Need to get hubby a new blackberry.

Amazon following WalMart. Now I've seen everything.

Thats two weeks in a row. Things must be tough.

I need recommendations. Which Blackberry model/carrier should I go with? My sprint contract is up, and I want to see what else there is out there.

You should get the Blackberry Droid:

That's not on the list. I wanted to get one of these and switch carriers.
