I think that Vizio is supposed to be LED, not a LCD. And i got my eye on it, because my baby broke my LCD panel this week. It cost more to fix it then to buy this LED... friggen hilarious

What is the suspected model of this Vizio? I might have to jump on an LED

Do we have a way of knowing model numbers on some of these?
In particular I was interested in that "Phillips Dual Screen Portable DVD Player $99" , because if it is the PET7402/37 which normally is around $140 that is a really good deal.
... so that Phillips doesn't look all that great right now. I'm asusmign that Phillips must also be a 120hz model for that price to be appealing.
They have a 42" I believe Toshiba every day for 620ish too so the Hitachi doesn't seem all that stunning either. Hitachi used to be a great name but I didn't see anything special about their LCD sets in Sams.

and on top of that Sams doens't sell any Vizio LED backlits that I've seen. The price seems right for a regular 240hz as the smaller model 240hz is <1000 and the 47" 120hz is <$1000 there too.

Too bad it is not on the BF list. The $997 price for a 47" makes no sense. Almost like someone was releasing this rumor on purpose to see where their leak was.
Uh... Sam's Club doesn't do black friday. They open early like everyone else to give the appearance of it, they even sometimes give out "free breakfast" (donuts and coffee), but they don't do any sales.

They usually have only a hand full of items as doorbusters or some bundles only found at Sam's.
I don't know about y'all, but man, most of these prices are boarding on the absurd. Black Friday leaked plus confirmed deals are making me want to call it Blue Friday....feelin' blue because the deals are gawd awful (most of them, anyway).
babalu said: Saving at Sams is an illusion. Always higher than Wal-Mart for the same items, Not really. Try the lithium Energizer batteries and Sam's is about %20 cheaper. You always need to compare though. The best deals are on the closeouts and 1 of a kind items i.e. LCD tvs.

Possibly a typo. Maybe it's Just LCD not LED backlit.
The JVC blu-ray player if it is the JVC XVBP1 model is a decent deal - $20 less than what I've seen it go for and its a very high quality player - most people say that is a top notch upscaler, loads discs fast, and has great picture quality- it just dosen't play SACD or DVD-audio discs (or have Netflix/Youtube/DLNA functions).
I bought a widescreen Nuvi last Christmas and ended up returning it for the non-widescreen version. I felt like the widescreen's added width was about useless and didn't buy you anything since I couldn't "see" any further out in front on the map. Also, the non-widescreen has a longer battery life and seems more portable (for carrying in shirt pocket, etc.).
FYI, I came to that conclusion after getting a non-WS Nuvi for my in-laws (for Christmas) and seeing how it did and didn't differ from the WS one I had originally bought for myself. I'm not totally against having a WS one, but I wouldn't pay anything extra to get the WS.
when I went to Sam's today, they handed me an ad for Black Friday. It shows the tomtom One 125-SE for $57.87. I'm not sure how that stacks up against the Garmin, but it does say that the tomtom has spoken street names.

I saw the same ad. I've seen it posted that it's a Garmin on sale for $119, but on the print ad it was the tomtom here in IL. I've done research on the tomtom, the one 125 has no spoken street names, althought the ad says it does for this tom tom one 125-se. They currently don't have it in stock to look at, of course. Anyone have any details?

These are warehouse club members outlets the prices are as low as they'll go. SamsClub not always cheap as BJ Wholesale and Costco in electronic department with it coupon off booklet. I won't be able to reach SamsClub on BF, it's impossible to get to all these stores. Wal-Mart out of the question. Best Buy will be like a mad house again this year. I would like to get another netbook and stick that into one of the bedrooms so when the kids come over they have something to use. I think with the prices coming so low you can buy one for every bedroom in the house along with those smaller HDTV LCD now so cheap attached to blueray player.

Yeah, I was surprised too!!! I happened to check online at 10 PM PST and it was all available.
I was able to hurriedly buy the 17.3" HP laptop with bluray player before it was sold out. But later I read the specs of what I just bought and it's NOT a Core 2 Duo processor that I was expecting based on numerous BF web site information. Now I have to line up at Sams to see if the in-store version has the C2D chip in it. I am so disappointed because I really didn't want to wait out in the cold to buy this since it was available online. Bait n $witch is such a 8itch!
BTW... For those wanting to apply the $50 HP rebate to this, forget it. This model ends in "CL" (probably for Club model) not "US" as the rebate requires.

Does anyone have any experience shopping at the buying clubs (Costco, etc) on BF for limited quantity items? I am interested in the Netbook. Unlike what we see for OD,BB,etc the ad gives no indication of how many they have.

Ebay Daily Deal shows the JVC XVBP1 @ 109.99 FS. I needed a cheap/simple BR player so I got one for me and one for my M&D as a Christmas gift. May get one more. Don't forget 1% CB.
