Here is the product page. It says that it supports QAM and that it has two independent tuners. Based on this information, I would conclude that the answer to your questions is 'yes', but I do not know for sure, because I just ordered mine today. Anyone who has one care to comment?
Yes, I have one: it has two tuners, each of which can tune ATSC or QAM. Each tuner has it's own input, so it can be set up as two ATSC tuners, 1 ATSC/1QAM, or 2 QAM tuners.
Cannot figure out where to enter the promo code. I add the HDHomerun to my cart and it shows me the checkout options but no option to enter the promo code.

I recalled it is on the lower right hand side of the checkout page. I think below the fields asking for credit card number.

Never mind. Found the coupon code on the checkout page. Got one.
My area has more than 80 channels on unecrypted QAM. Adding another one of these and I am going to pull out both tuners from my PC. Now hopefully the Acer Nettop can record from 4 tuners to replace my quad-core Vista Media Center - now that would be awesome.
why would it need 2 cable inputs for 2 tuners? I thought one is enough.
I have been running my HDHomerun on Windows 7 for the last 4-5 months and it works like a charm. This device has 2 tuners and each requires a separate input. That gives you the flexibility of deciding your configuration i.e. 1 ATSC/1 QAM or 2 ATSC or 2 QAM. There are some tuners that have a single input and split the signal inside the card but with those you are limited in your configuration choices. I use a signal amplifier/booster to split my cable 8 ways, 4 analog and 4 QAM.
no encoding really. 70mbps for two 1080i shows over ethernet. the deal is since comcast won the right to encrypt with their cheapo boxes - free qam days are numbered
Elaborate please. That was the reason I got this one. I now see over 80 channels on QAM. The plan was to get another one and pull out the existing tuners in my MCE...

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh. The first rule of No Sales Tax Club is...
I've owned one of these for a few years now. Tuners can be used as QAM or OTA (or both 1 and 1) as they are independant tuners (not analog tuners tho). This is the best tuner I have ever owned (and I have had 7 of them in the last 5 years). Driver support is A+ (new beta drivers ever few weeks), Support A+ (post on their website and less than 24 hours I got a reply, last time within 25 min)
Used with Media Center 2005, Vista MC and Windows 7 MC.....Awsome tuner, great price and very easy to setup.
