Bosch Ascenta Series SHE5AL06UC Full Console Dishwasher with 5 Wash Cycles, Nylon Coated Racks, Opti Dry Technology, Silence Rating of 53 dB and Energy Star Qualified.

definitely do your research - we have a washer & dryer set.
after a couple of years, the washer smelled VERY strongly of mold. This was well reported online after I purchased. I would wash some towels with bleach & that would clean it out but a few days later the same thing would happen again.
After going round and round with the warranty company, Bosch themselves replaced it with a newer model & has been working great for a few years now.

ok, so what are you saying? mold in your bosch washer (by the way mold in front loaders is a common ploblem across all the brands, although it's not necesarilly technology issue, but rather "user error") somehow reflects on how this dishwasher performs? wow... how about this, i have had bosch table saw for about 5 yeras, it cuts wood with excellent precission.
Bosch is my favorite brand when it comes to dishwasher. I have one back home and it runs so quite you won't even know if it is running or not. It will wash spotless too. I am assuming the US models are as good as European ones. If you ask me, this is a good price and GREAT dishwasher.

Haven't been able to find any interior pictures of this dishwasher, but did find the user manual and installation manual on the Bosch site. If you load the user manual, it shows pictures of the inside along with it's many features.
Click the additional documents tab and then User manual
I actually need a dishwasher, and this looks good, so I pulled the trigger on one - let's hope it's legit and comes through! Thanks!

Thanks for the great find, made my xMas!!! This is apparently a dc'd model, but there's nothing wrong with a Bosch..... Oh, yeah, the top rack is not adjustable....:, I think we can adjust to that, Sears is going to beat their heads in trying to PM, but not as much as Lowes, can't wait to hear them ball...Thanks for the great find, Will keep you folks posted, BTW $50 is not a bad delivery charge...

OH yeah, FYI, This model had a composite tub, i.e.,not solid steel, part high tech poly in an attempt to reduce noise, (already quiet at 53db..) Someone had intimated early on about some "issue"... That was it... As long as it has the Bosch name on it, I could care less what it is composed of..... it's good enough for this house..

if you read my entire post you would have seen that the earlier generation of front loaders had an issue with draining while the newer one which was given to me by Bosch themselves has worked fine.. the mfg actually took care of me when the warranty company wouldn't
I'm a bosch fan & have been wanting a dishwasher for a long time.

I agree BTW.... i have a samsung washer with the silver ions and no mold smell even if i leave the cloths wet overnight.
keep in mind Bosch or most of these European dishwashers drying system works by condensation. They don't use a heating coil like most 'American' brands. Google the diff or pros/cons, as I am too lazy to type them all out for you.
Nice, found a interesting article comparing the two. http://www.practicallyedible.com/edible.nsf/pages/Dishwashers!opendocument&startkey=Dishwashers&keyword=Dishwashers

Bosch dishwashers are excellent quality. I've had a couple of them, older models tho, they were great.
Speaking of Bosch washing machines, been using mine for about 8 years now, and it has been perfect. It has gone through a few moves from one house to another (together with me and all my household) and not a blip. Love it.
By design these dishwashers seem way more quiet and energy efficient than the big brothers with heated coil drying and disposals. There are pros and cons to either or I suppose. The ones with heated coils and disposals obviously will clean and dry dishes a little better? But at the cost of electricity and noise levels

How reputable is the company?? I've been waiting for a deal on a dishwasher since my Maytag fell apart on me a few weeks ago..

Sears wont PM b/c Eurostoves only has 1 B&M location (& it's in MA) & i couldnt find the dishwasher on lowes site by model #.
Why won't Sears price match? What are their rules as far as price matching are concerned?

In for 1, got an email request to confirm the color from Eurostoves, and I asked a few questions, then got reply email from their operations director, I have never bought anything from this company before, but it seems their customer service is very good.
What time is in EST now? are they still working in midnight
Thank you for your order of the Bosch dishwasher. I want to verify with you that you want the black version. Also, pass this deal along to your family and friends because it is a steal! I will arrange delivery with you when it becomes available.

Did you remember to put the rinse agent in? I tried a couple loads without it at first cause I thought it didn't need it and my dishes came out all wet. After the rinse agent though the dishes come out pretty dry. The only exception is the cups/bowls with lips where the water gets trapped in the top. But that's not a very big deal, considering most of the other dishwashers I've used in the past had the same issue.Yes I tried with the rinse agent as well. So far, I have been using "quick wash" cycle but I read on the web yesterday that for better drying results, longer cycles are needed. I am going to try that along with the rinse agent.
And the "rinse agent" light is "off" right (so you filled the rinse agent dispenser all the way up)?
I actually haven't tried a quick wash cycle at this point so maybe that happens to everybody and I just didn't realize. I've done 'auto' as well as half-load and I think I did pot scrubber once just to check the 'sanitize' light function.
