Link Samsung 50" 1080p Widescreen Plasma HDTV with DVD Home Theater
$776 shipped (cheaper than what the TV normally sells for by itself)
The TV features a native resolution of 1920x1080 (1080p), 600Hz sub-field drive, 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, three HDMI inputs, and VGA, component, and other video inputs. The home theater system features 1,000 watts of total power, Dolby Digital, DTS, and Pro Logic II decoding, 5-disc 1080p upconverting DVD changer with DivX playback, iPod dock, USB port, HDMI connections, and component, S-Video, RCA, and coaxial video outputs
The price is cheap because people don't want Plasma sets anymore and same for DVD Home Theater. Why spend the money for a DVD-only player when DVD is even more obsolete than Blu-Ray? I guess the price is right! Hard to resist!

Is this a good deal, right before BF ?? Discover offers 10% Cash Back on Dell. Including this??

He is right about people not really wanting Plasmas...which is great for people who are paying attention and know what an amazing value a plasma like this is. The DVD/Blu-Ray comment is stupid because this home theater is throw-away junk (looks like it to me anyway), but just for the TV, super hot deal.

I agree i think that people hear rumors and take them to heart without confirming hearsay, there a few plasmas out there that the lcds cant touch for PQ I happen to own one of them
Some 2009 Samsung B model plasmas buzz louder than the typical plasma "buzz". Do your research before jumping in. AVS forums had a large topic about this. Otherwise great deal, if you are lucky enough to get a good one.
Why can't I find complete specs on the PN50BHTZ320 anywhere online? I know Dell had mis-labeled an 720p TV as 1080p recently, so I'm kind of worried on this one.
As a point of reference, HHGregg Brick and Mortor has this same Plasma and Home theater combo for $799 this week. So if you can get it from Dell with the Discover Cash Back, it would be a great deal.

PN50BHTZ320? I think you've merged the model #'s of the TV and the Home Theater together.
The TV is a PN50B530. The Home Theater is HT-Z320.

Wasn't me, it was Dell, I did a copy/paste from their website.

Damn.
Must not pull trigger.
Keep your Panny, you will regret the change. Lots of reviews seem negative because of huge buzz sound problem (when set is on and off) and also burn in from TV show logos and video games.

There are four separate posts above yours that state as such.

It's hard to believe this wasn't a price mistake. Has anyone had their orders confirmed yet? Unbelievable deal if you could get it

i'm a member of another site and a lady just ordered the Dell deal through chat in the past hour and they told her it was in stock and it would be shipped in 2 days. i did mine through bing sun.@ 3:02pm item said will ship within 24hrs. called today and a lady said out of stock and changed me from nov. 19th to dec. 7th. bad bad business i think and i know of no one that has received a tracking number. pass me a hanky please.
I just got a email saying my new estimated delivery is Dec 7th. Initially it showed Nov 19th.
