I think this is the HE detergent for front load washers. I bought this before and thats what they gave me at pickup. It shows HE in photo also. Also bing is 2-8% right now for Sears.

Just checked again and I'm getting 10% CashBack on Bing and Sears

rated for use in ALL WASHER TYPES including new High Efficiency and Traditional Top Loaders

Formulated for use in ALL WASHER MODELS

Are you sure the 10% is not friends and family discount today? Post what link is Bing 10% off at Sears. Its a good deal but you might want to add in your post that this is HE detergent. I would have jumped on this except it's showing out of stock for me. If you do not want HE detergent and want traditional detergent, it's on sale also for $9 with F&F discount found today.

This is awesome detergent. I've been using it in my front-loader for over a year now, and our clothes no longer fade. In addition, I no longer get the scummy build-up on the inside of my washer that I had with HE liquid detergent.

17.3 lb for $12 seems better than 11.5 lb for $10

thanks OP I was in need of some detergent

Unless you have a top load washer and prefer traditional detergent instead of HE. Some people, including myself, think that HE detergent in a top loader does not work as well as traditional detergent. If you have a front loader, then most definitely get HE detergent.

It should be in the title posting that this is HE detergent. Two letters, HE

Positive about the 10%. HE or not HE, I could care less at this price. I've used this for years in my toploader. Cleans as good as the expensive stuff.

Then back it up. Supply the link for 10% bing at Sears!!! And put HE Detergent in your heading!!!

Bing Cashback 10% link

I think someone just got served

How does the dry stuff work in front loaders? I've always used liquid, usually the super concentrated stuff.

Sears does not include HE in their title, who am I to edit their product. As for the picture that you talked about earlier, it clearly states that it is approved for all washers.

Two letters: "chill out." Oops, maybe more than two letters. Oh well.

Bing Cashback 10% link

Showed 8% for me, too. And it wouldn't take the 5 off 50 coupon on the form (figured it was because of the F&F discount). Besides, I think bing said no coupons on the page.

And, basically, all the he means is the detergent does not have much of the stuff that makes the bubbles, which is bad for the cleaning action in a front loader. Most of the "better" detergents rely on enzymes for stain removal and cleaning. That "consumer" magazines that "reports" on stuff liked this detergent a lot when I started using it three years ago.

I put the items in my cart, added the 5 off 50 and then went to bing and I saw all of the discounts, but maybe the coupon would kill the 8 percent bing cash. Picking up orders from Sears has never gone well for me so I did not complete the order.

The 5 off 50 code is on the FatCash page so it should work with 5 percent FatCash

Keep seeing this detergent show up on FW with positive reviews. Figured I'd give it a whirl. Thanks, OP.

so is this good for front loaders and if so how much should be used. i just got lg and do not want to trash it..

I was able to use the 5-off-50 coupon in addition to the F&F discount for a savings of $10.50 off 5x. It was 8% CB for me too :/ (3.95 / 49.45 ~= 8%)
Bing CashBack being $3.95, I figure if they reject the CB the $5 coupon is better anyways, but if they accept it that's a nice bonus.

I really don't know why I bought 5 of these. 900 loads worth of laundry, let's say one launder a week, that comes out to 17.3 yrs. Guess I won't be shopping for detergent in a while

Update: I did receive the $3.95 Bing CB in addition to the F&F discount and $5 off coupon.

Give the extras as Christmas presents

argggg..out of stock at both Sears near me. sigh.

I bought this stuff last time it was on sell and it works fine by my standards. Enjoy!

after added to the cart, it always say $ 21.59 for the total. Any IDea?

We have a LG font loader and switched from tide to this stuff two weeks ago.
It does as good , maybe even a little better than tide.
I am definitely going to stock up!

HE detergents are made with water conditioners added. Most of the time it is a form of baking soda. They do this to use less water and to keep the suds down.
These will work great in top loaders, but you have to use twice as much detergent because your using twice to three times as much water.

Dead. $16.99 now.

looks to be a dead deal
