I saw this package at Best Buy today. It looks like a good bargain for the price. Granted the DVD system is standard DVD, but it has some decent reviews. One could always use the Surround sound system for the office or kids room.

Ultraslim (2-4/5" deep), lightweight design is a plus.

The TV is this price by itself. Would make a great Christmas gift for parents, or grandparents that don't want or need a Blu-ray player and are not technosnobs like many of us can come off as.

The last item under specifications says "internet connected", but I did some research and can't figure out what that is supposed to mean.

Looks similar to the Dell deal from the other day, but 720p instead of 1080p, and about $25 more. Not as hot in that light.

so many deals on the 50 "..search for panasonic 50" deal for 620 in the forums.. I need a 40 or 42" and nothing seem to be on sale

HHGREG has the samsung PN50B450 w/ the theater bundle for 799.00.
50" Samsung plasma w/ 720p
not the deal i got from Dell yesterday if my deal actually happens.
they moved my ship date back 2 weeks and i placed my order yesterday @3:02pm EST.
lots of confusing imformation from Dell on the PN50B530 bundle deal from yesterday for 776.00
cross my fingers i guess.

just get a 50" unless you have some space consraints, almost no one regrets getting too big a tv but many lament not going for the bigger tv.

Streaming content from Netflix would display nicely on a set that was "internet connected". If that's the case here, a plus...

Saw this same deal at Sears B&M last night. Couldn't pull the trigger but was very tempted with 5% F&F discount. Woulda been $749 out the door and 18-months interest free financing. I shoulda pulled the trigger.

I bought this TV in September and it is absolutely awesome. The kids use it everyday with PS3 games and the picture is sharp and clear, no ghosting. I highly recommend it.
