Sam's Club free one-day pass expires 12/31/09:

http://www2.samsclub.com/holidays/media/print/onedaypass.pdf

Merry Christmas!

fine print shows they are going to add 10% fee to your purchase. I think you can shop any day at sams and they add 10% fee.

Sam's Club is pretty nice. It's a LOT easier to get a business membership since May, which is $35 vs. $40 for a regular membership. It also comes with more privledges, like the free Click and Pull service. However, they only take MasterCard and Discover, they don't accept manufacturer's coupons, and they only offer "Sam's Club coupons" to people who buy the $100 membership.

They're cheaper than BJ's on some things, but they seem to carry items in larger (bulk) quantities. In other words, yeah, they may be a little cheaper for cooking oil, but you need to buy a gallon of it.

No fee in California. It's illegal. Woohoo.

This "pass" is pretty disingenuine if you can shop there any day if you pay 10% more.

It says on the pass that the 10% fee is not applicable in South Carolina as well as California, and of course, not in Elmsford, NY. (I wonder what local law Elmsford NY has passed to make their Sam's Club not charge this fee.)

no fee ... but isn't the sales tax near 10% ... woop dee doo

Here's another no fee pass. Sign up, buy, then return the membership for a full refund. Probably not the most ethical but charging 10% for a one-day "pass" isn't ethical either. A pass should be just that, a pass.

Please correct it. Not valid on Friday 11-27-2009.

The fine print on the "pass" says that only "original" passes accepted. Does this exclude web/printer copies?

In most cases if a vendor is offering the pass on their own website then they will accept printed copies of it. They just add in that common jargon so that they have an out in case they detect abuse of the discount.

does the pass work at the sam's gas station?
