(Edit- Ships without Retail Packaging. Because it doesn't say that in the add, this deal is lukewarm. Look and sound new, but there is really no way to know for sure. These could be returns, or factory seconds for that matter.)
From one of the reviews: "Of course Bose are the best but I could not phantom paying $300 for headphones that I use only when I fly, and I fly a lot." *Chuckle* For $25 I guess they are worth a try, but I can't fathom using these over a good pair of *edit: closed headphones or iems. Green for OP though for it being a good deal if you are looking for these or something similar in this price range.

I'll give you green for the effort, but keep in mind its 29 bucks on eBay with FREE shipping. At the end it is not that great of a deal. http://cgi.eBay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230400315786&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WXS%3F&GUID=7d002c951240a04370d56965ffd8f122&itemid=230400315786&ff4=263602_263622

Or another way to look at this is that this deal is more than 10% less than the next best price. Nice find OP!

I just received the headphone. It is not skullcandy at all. Brand is amp'd mobile. similar shape but way too far from item of skullcandy. I am filing a claim to see if it works. But I don't expect the money will return to me since obviously the seller is cheating.

That last post and the latest review on Amazon decided me. In for none.

I received the Amp'd Mobile ones today. Disappointed. Filed a complaint with the seller, will escalate to Amazon if needed. Note the Amp'd ones sell for $18+4 shipping on Amazon and I'm sure better deals can be found elsewhere (like eBay). Wish I didn't get in on this.
The skullcandy one is a re-badged Amp'd mobile. This is a pretty decent headphone. Worth every penny.

I just returned mine yesterday. I had to file a claim through Amazon. They got back to me a few days later and issued a refund. I was so mad when these came in the mail and they were NOT in packaging and were not even the skullcandy brand.
My husband tried them out before we returned them. They were not very good and they looked like they were in used condition. I found a pretty good deal on Overstock for the skullcandy skullcrusher headphones. Check them out before you decide to purchase from the VibeCellular seller on Amazon.
Did anyone get the *real* SkullCandy headphones? It seems everybody got shipped fakes. I'm still waiting for mine to come.

I got fakes, too. Although mine are brand new and in packaging - they're just amp'd mobile instead of skullcandy. I emailed the company. They responded and said I can return the item for a full refund or they will credit me $5 back on the order. I'm not sure what to do. Are these really the same headphones only rebranded? Anyone know for sure? I can't really figure it out online or find any decent reviews for this particular set. Any advice would be appreciated!

Just received my set today. I also got the amp'd mobile version, but they were in new packaging. Comparing them to images of the skullcandy sc-nc headphones, they appear to be identical. I'm pretty certain that they are the same headphones. I was leaning towards returning them, but think I may still keep them. $25 is still a good deal for noise cancelling headphones.

Can't you just dispute the charge on your CC?
Are they willing to pay for return shipping?
Also, a big reason to insist on SkullCandy over these Amp'd is that SkullCandy offers a lifetime warranty with all its products. I've personally returned 3 pairs of their INK'd earbuds and had them replaced each time without question even though I purchased them 3+ years ago.

I assumed that they are willing to pay for return shipping (if not I will definitely dispute the charge). I guess I was wondering if it's worth $20 to keep these headphone versus not having any (via the $5 refund). Anyone have an opinion on if these are worth $20? Good point about the warranty. But for $20 for noise cancelling headphones, that might not be a dealbreaker...

I'm leaning towards keeping these. I didn't read your post properly cnberger. I thought you could return and get a $5 credit towards another purchase later. What was the jist of your complaint? Also, did you write Amazon or Vibe to complain? For $20, I would say just keep them. I don't think you can find the skullcandy branded ones anymore. These appear to be a phased out model, so I'm not sure how a warranty would work from them anyhow. From what i've seen there are about 5 companies that use these exact headphones and just brand them differently. I'm not expecting top of the line quality like you would expect from Shure headphones...the price seems right for the occassional plane trip, etc that I plan on using these.

I wrote to Vibe, using the link on my Amazon account to contact the seller. I just said that I didn't receive the headphones I had ordered (and if I wanted these I could have ordered them cheaper elsewhere). They wrote back within 24 hours with this offer. Thanks for your advice. I guess I will probably just hang on to these. I have loud neighbors and am hoping this can drown out their stereo bass...
I followed cnberger's method and got the same results...either $5 back or return for full refund. So I would say if anyone's dissappointed, you can definately return them...or you can keep them for a little bit cheaper.
