Thermos makes some of the best water bottles on the market. Stainless steel avoids the chemical leaching problems of plastic bottles and plastic-lined aluminum bottles. Double-walled vacuum-insulated construction keeps your water cold for up to 12 hours. Wide mouth fits ice cubes.
MSRP $27 Friday sale price $15 free super-saver shipping (on $25 orders) also eligible for 4-for-3 promotion (buy 4 and get one free) only the charcoal color is on sale (gray is $27)
I have one of these and they are indeed very nice. Just keep in mind that they are fairly large, which could be good or bad depending on your situation. They hold a good bit of water but may be awkward in some auto cup holders (for instance).
Yes, the insulation feature does make these bottles significantly larger than uninsulated water bottles with the same capacity. The 18-ounce Thermos water bottle may be a better choice if you need to fit it in a cup holder.
Just FYI, apparently Amazon.com is limiting the purchase quantity of these to 3 per customer... therefore the 4-for-3 promotion will NOT work if you want 4 of this particular item (but if you add a different item as your 4th item, then you will get the lowest priced item for free).
I, too, tried to order 4 with no luck. I remembered I wanted a travel mug to brew loose tea in and thermos has a good one. Search for "Thermos Stainless Steel Tea Tumbler with Infuser" on Amz. $19.32 and good for the 3 for 4 promotion, so I got one of the $15 bottles for free.
You can get free hot water at most gas stations with a coffee maker and drink good quality loose tea for a fraction of what you'll pay for bad coffee.

This is probably a dumb question, but why aren't they advertising this for holding hot drinks?

I think the design of the lid makes sipping difficult and a mouthful of hot coffee can be painful. When you're exercising, you often want to drink quickly and this bottle is good for that. Thermos has other bottles with the opening closer to the side, which works better for hot drinks.
