Old Navy has 50% off regular priced item for tomorrow only. I received a text message from Old Navy that it is only for a "full priced item," but the terms and conditions on the website does not mention this. The website says "any single item." YMMV on whether you can use it on sale/clearance items. In store only.
Yep, you have to create a Band name and a Logo and print it, bring it to the store along with the coupon. It doesnt mention anything about "Not valid on clearance" so I think it should go in smooth if you print the page out.
the coupon mentions nothing of today, but i brought it to the store. talked to 3 people there and none of them had any idea what i was talking about and wouldn't give me the 50% off. I even tried to [pull it up on my cell phone but the mobile version wouldnt' show the popup that was on the site earlier that mentioned the deal. very frustrating

You have to add to event line up and you could then print your coupons with your band name...

Okay... update... Just got back from Old Navy where my wife bought a $99 wool blend coat that was already on sale (down to $65) for $32. Plus, if you use your LUXE, GAP, or Old Navy card they give you a $5 gift card as well. The registers won't allow it to be used any clearance or sale item, but the coupon doesn't exclude that so the manager had to do an over-ride. Since my wife and I had a coupon, let's just say the store manager was not happy about it! But thanks for the heads up OP... we saved over $50 thanks to FW today!

All you needed was to print the band logo and take it in- there was no coupon; you just told the clerk about the discount. The clerk that helped me hadn't heard about it, but his supervisor had.
they couldn't make heads or tails of that w/o a code, but luckily I took a screen shot of both the popup and my band name and they did a manual overide. And clearance was 50% off sticker price, so I got to long sleeves collar shirts for $6 EA and a pair of perfect fitting cargo pants for $2.50. I can never bring myself to shop more than clearance items at Old Navy. I figure it will all be in clearance at some point or another!
I went to my local ON at 4pm on Saturday. Neither of the cashiers had heard of the promotion, nor had the manager I found ( ut she said she was just back from vacation that day). Then went to ask another manager, and they finally brought out a sheet with instructions on how to apply the discount. I thought it was only valid on non-sale merchandise, so my wife found a fleece top that was not on sale and got it for $9.75. Obviously not a very popular promotion in my area.
i don't think it's a proper promo anywhere. I'm inclined to believe the Old Navy web folks slipped up. the create your logo really seems to be more for the printable coupon sheet for this week then anything else.

It was a valid promo, it was actually on the Kelly character's Twitter page. The manager at my store had the sheet, he just hadn't bothered to tell the cashiers about it.
Yes, the logo is intended for other stuff but they decided to do this to get people to try it.
There's no code, there's no coupon, and the only way to let 90%+ of Old Navys know is to not only print, but 'screen grab' a pop up, something I was say most people aren't comfortable with doing. Even then, the majority of experiences here (inc. mine) point to Old Navy scratching their heads. If this was by design, then Old Navy marketing is incredibly stupid this time. The only reason my store took it is that the majority of staff is incredibly nice. I can't imagine that was the exp. at all stores.
