Might want to watch out about these Sentry Fire Safes. If Fire Safely is all you are concerned about they are probably OK but if you are looking for any type of burglary protection, then look elsewhere.

I almost bought one but tend to over research things. In this case, it saved me from a bad purchase. Check out this video of the Sentry Fire Safe: http://www.youtube.com/user/LockPicksPlusdotCom#p/a/u/1/BRTnJVwY...

That video makes me think. Maybe I better keep my saw inside my safe.

I have a Sentry Safe that's mostly for fire and to deter theft, I guess. It's not like I keep gold bullion in the house (I bury that in the yard).

I bought the safe, and it came with hardware to bolt it to the floor. It required, however, that I drill holes into the safe. I did notice how easy it was to drill the holes.

BTW, WalMart.com has the 1.2cu ft Sentry Safe for $129 + $1 shipping to your house. Toss on the 20% Bing CashBack and this rebate, and you can make your own videos about how easy it is to get into the thing.

I find it funny that Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought:

Bosch HCK001 7-Piece SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill Bit Set

Are they practicing on breaking into these?

Would be hard to saw through it that way if bolted to your floor against a wall.

And that video would have WHAT to do with the safe this thread is about?

Please let me know what I missed.
