its good for being that its wireless but the camera is ballz as far as image quality and stability. if you don't mind unplugging it every other day to reset the wifi link its decent.

Why does it requre reset? Is their a sysem out their you would recommend. i would like a few indoor and a few outdoor cameras. Thanks for your help.
I would recommend an analog system for most people. you have central power (needs to be on a battery backup, power glitches cause 99% of lock ups). Since most low end cameras are not POE and most people can't afford a decent POE switch. Traditional analog setups make more sense.
Board lens cameras are very inflexible in quality anyways - even though they are rated at 640x480 they end up looking like 320x240 due to poor lenses and crappy tuning and factory focus issues.
If you are not going to use pro gear you might as well get something reliable.
These are trendnet models you can go to Newegg and lookup reviews on the same model (except its blue). it is junk.
If you must use these - stick to ethernet and have your pc on 24x7 with webcam XP/7 to process the video. which brings up back to the point where you can just get a dvr capture card and run some analog cams and get similar results.
i just hunt down deals on eBay - you'd be suprised at how cheap some 5 year pro-cameras go for. And like comparing a DSLR to a miley-cyrus digital camera - the image quality is that much better - regardless of age.
i've got a 10 year old axis camera off eBay for $25 that included a nice $50 varifocal f/1.0 lens that will smoke this camera all day long, minus the wireless.
i thought about buying some of these but honestly its like having a 90% off deal on miley-cyrus digital cameras at target - they would have zero use for me. unless it was for resale.
