It is basically a Core 2 Duo T6600 with 1MB cache vs. 2MB.

The T6600 lacks virtualization, as does the T4300. So they really are comparable.

The T6670 has virtualization, but otherwise is similar to the T6600 and T4300.

The T4300 is based on intel's 45nm penryn Core 2 Duo technology. It is a 64-bit processor, like all of intel's current processors.

A C2D was definitely a deal. Will pass on the Dual Core.
