Anyone else getting disconnected when dialing the phone number?? Right after typing my ID number I get a little message that says the wait time is greater than 20 minutes.....then it disconnects me altogether.
I am very irritated at BB now! I finally got someone on the phone and spent a total of 56 minutes on the phone when she came back and said that thier system is updating and they cannot put my shipping info into the system to send a laptop to me. They actually asked me to call back to get one later!
I am now going to try to talk to a supervisor, but will probably end up hanging up since I'm sure it will take a while!
Leave it to BB to screw it up!

UPDATE: Well, after 46 minutes, they finally picked up. Guess I'll go ahead and buy something.
Did they still have what you wanted? I know it said limited quantities......so I was worried. I'm finally back in the hold queue.

Best Buy sux!!!! I was on on the phone with them for an hour and they did not know how to process the order. Even though it is a phone only deal, she was telling me to go to my local store. Completely incompetent. The Supervisor would not get on the phone as all the phone reps had the same problem. This is how Best Buy treats their best customers (Premier Silver). incredible.

I don't think you'll be able to borrow anyone's number.....they specifically check the name and address that are associated with the account before going to the ordering process.
I was able to talk to one of the rep over the phone after waiting for about 40 mins right after the sale began. I ordered the PS3 without any problem, the rep seemed to know what to do and was able to place the order for me, although it took him a while to enter all the information into the system due to the very very slow connection at his end. I guess it was due to this big sale.

I was finally able to get through but they were sold out of the Toshiba laptop of course. I hate Best Buy.

FYI, I called them about the iPod Touch and TV, shipping is free for the iPod while they charge shipping for the Dynex TV. Also the gift card that comes with these two items, the rep told me you need to use it between 12 noon and 12 midnight today. That's just wrong. Leave it to BB to mess up things up. FAIL!

I called back this evening and, of course, they are out of the laptop. They did find a substitute. I looked at my order after I hung up and they subbed another Toshiba laptop that was $200 cheaper (orginal price). This was not what I was looking for! I called back and they won't sub the laptop with anything close to the Toshiba in their ad. I don't even know why I'm trying at this point.

BB is the worst. I did not get the Toshiba laptop due to their "system updating" on Monday per the CSR after being on hold for 1 hour. I called later and they substituted another "inferior" laptop. End result, I called corporate and they didn't really care. They just said that they had limited quantities and that was it. They are going to be offered in store on Friday and he said I could go to the store to get it (ha! ha!).
They could care less about their customers apparently.
