I was trying to PM the Best Buy deal ($350 for each) at my local Home Depot because BB is out of the dryer.
The saleman checked their database, and found that they have a even better deal for both washer and dryer, $347 for each. Beside that, they provide free delivery (BB will charge for $30 dollar). they also have a cheaper power cord, $15. (BB charges for $25 for the power cord. of course, they may come from different manufacturors)
So I ordered both washer and dryer form there. At the time, there are 189 washers and 58 dryers left in total.
Home Depot website still list $449 for each. So go to your local Home Depot to get the deal.
Also worth mentioning is the warranty. BB charges $99/washer and $129/dryer for additional 3 yr warranty through Geek Squad but HD charges $99 per machine for additional 4 yr warranty through GE. I don't have alot of confident having Geek Squad to fix my washer and dryer if things go south though.
Does anyone know what the depth requirement is for installing the LG Dryer. I know the dryer's depth measurement is 30" per the spec sheet but don't you have to allow room for the vent hose? Thanks
Great deal! FYI, the dryer earned consumer reports' "bestbuy" rating (even at $700). Overall reviews on a number of sites are highly positive. The washer also gets a "recommended" from CR.

Our laundry closet is 35" deep and it fits just fine.

I just bought both the washer and dryer from The Home Depot in Milpitas, CA. They accepted the 10% off coupon from Lowe's, making the price $312.30 for the washer and $312.30 for the dryer. Thanks for the good deal.

Go check and get the energy saver rebate for the washer. Its $75 in NJ.
Just picked up both with the Lowe's coupon for $312 each.
The washer warehouse stock went from 6 to 2 in the few minutes I was discussing with the salesman. It showed 24 "on order". Dryer had 60+ in stock.
Excellent deal. Thanks OP.

I had the exact same experience as the OP and others. Came up as $347 in the HD system in-store even though it was $450 online. I had to ask for these by model number; they were not shown on the floor. They honored my printout of a Lowes 10% coupon, which also applied to the dryer power cord and stacking system. Free delivery. The only thing that could have gone better is if I had seen this thread first. I spent a bunch of time printing out the Best Buy stuff preparing for a price match and even went to BB first (dryer out of stock in the warehouse & only one washer left).
I see $347 at checkout option at my zip code 20147. I guess look closely or try to check with different zip code.

While the washer and dryer are in your cart, they should both show the following:
Discounts & Coupons See Sale Price in Cart! See Details -$102.00
So the final total is $347 for each. The numbers just show up in a different area.

dryers sold out in my area But we do have washer here (zip 117xx). FYI, the dryer has very good review/score on Consumer Report, the review on the washer is just so so (though the price is pretty good).
Show as OOS for my area online, and the closest HD to me is a little over an hour away.

AWESOME! Just last week, my wife said, 'our dryer isn't drying very good'. Finally, perfect timing. I figure we got good use out of the washer dryer as they are 20yrs old anyway. GREEN FOR YOU.
Went to Home Depot yesterday evening and purchased the washer and dryer with the Lowe's coupon for $312 each. Delivery scheduled for December 1'st. I called and had them check availability before I left home and they had over 50 of the dryers at the warehouse serving central Florida but none in the store. When I got there an hour later they only had 7 left in the warehouse. The HD guy I talked to said he had already sold two sets to other customers who came in after I called. He said this was a discontinued model and they were not aware of the reduced price. They are both sold out in central Florida as of this morning. Glad I didn't procrastinate on this deal. Thanks!

COUPON CODE: FP16JPV for 10% online purchase today only.
I called and tried to have them adjust my order- no luck. I would've cancelled and placed it again, but the dryer is oos. Good luck.
With the information available in this thread, I quickly went to the Post Office and grabbed a "moving" kit and took the 10% Lowes coupon and drove to Home Depot B&M.
I purchased the dryer and I got the price mentioned here in this thread. I paid $70 extra for the natural gas version. They had no problem using the Lowes coupon.
The code is working for me on the $998 LG washer and dryer combo. Hope Fatwallet 5% Cash Back works on this as well.

I noticed some of you mentioned the LG 2050 model. Do you know if this is in fact the updated model from the 2016? Has anyone had a chance to use their 2050 enough to say if they like it?
