amazingly good laser printer as long as black and white is ok. Refurb toner runs about 30 bucks but lasts a long time. Well worth the price I use it all the time
I have 2510.. I have refilled it 2 times already using toner from eBay. works great! Have 3 of these in garage from Staples sale sometime earlier this year

i figure both have about similar quality I can tell you form experience though that the samsung works with mac os x and windows. Not sure about brother.
Also the Samsung comes with a 1500 page toner
edit I have been informed the cartridge only comes with 1k prints

I concur. These are easily refilled and I refilled my first one about ten times over the span of three years before the quality became too poor to continue using it (the drum will eventually wear out). I've heard Brother's are not as easily refilled at home.
