I would imagine it's a Greenpower drive (or whatever they call them). About 6 months ago I picked up a couple cheap WD externals, 500GB & 1000GB, both were GP drives. Stripped the internal drive and put it into my main desktop. Only catch, it seemed the external enclosure would only work with WD drives. Nothing else I put in there would recognize.
