Title said it all. Please forgive me for not able to post the details as I am running late for work. I will post it once I get back home or if someone could kindly post the rebate form. Good luck.
No, it definitely isn't. http://www.frys.com/product/6037618?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_P but this is, I just ordered it. Well, when I click on this it isn't either even though I copied it from the page. Do what I did if it doesn't come up, just go to Fryes and search for Norton 360.

Norton 360 isn't bad... seemed to get good reviews. But, Microsoft Security Essentials works great and it's free.
I would -STAY AWAY- from Mcafee... some of these programs try to do way more that just protect you from a virus or malware - they take over your system. I have had quite a few coworkers that complained of slow internet/slow computers and Mcafee was the culprit.
Had McAfee and deleted it. Have used 360 for almost a year and like it so buying now for next year. Well, actually using it again next year for them paying me one cent, with rebates.
There's an error on Fry's part (and carried over into the links in the OP) re/ the rebates they've posted for the Norton bundle: they posted the $25 competitive rebate twice, instead of the $50 primary rebate. I assume they will fix this sooner or later, but generally if you email them about it, they'll send you a proper link.
Sigh. Another 2 hours of compiling rebate forms, another $400+ worth of free software for my kids' school...
Is there a link for the first page of manual of any previous product? I use Comodo and I dont think that qualifies for the second rebate. Any ideas on how to get the second competitive upgrade rebate?

Thanks, snagged a copy of Norton 360 3.0 which will keep my subscription going for a year longer. Note that when Norton upgrades their programs, if you have a valid subscription, you can get the new version for free, downloaded from their site. I did that with the copy of Norton 360 2.0 I bought last year, and will do it again when they come out with Norton 360 4.0.
I don't care much for the Visa card rebates, especially since these cards will start charging a fee on your balance if you don't use them within a period of time. Also, it is often hard to use them for the exact amount they are worth. What I do is to buy a "gift" card at my grocery store for the amount of the Visa card. That gift card does not charge a fee ever, nor does it expire (at least in California where that is the law), and I know I will be buying groceries. A smilar trick can be done at other places that issue their own gift card, or butying a gift certificate for the exact amout at a restaurant you eat at.
I'm in for Norton 360 - been using it for a few years and am satisfied with it. The prepaid cards work OK for me. A check would be better, but I can live with it. NOW I NEED TAX SOFTWARE !!

Supposedly if you call the support number on the back of the Norton VISA cards, you can ask them to send you a paper check in lieu of using the card.
Thanks. I was going to get Norton 360 but had already done the Upgrade Offer #. I did get Norton Internet Security Bundle and Kaspersky Internet Security. Great buys!! Free. Free shipping and no sales tax (my state).
I currently use EZ Gig II (Acronis TrueImage clone) imaging software, but wanted something that would do incremental backups.

Regarding Mcafee Total Protection-
Guys, keep this in mind!
In the Mcafee TERMS & CONDITIONS: Rebate amount paid to customer for single or combined rebate offers may not exceed the purchase price of the McAfee product.
Fry's is charging $69.99 and the rebate is $70. Technically that can invalidate the rebate as it is one cent more than the purchase price.
Any experience with this?
P.S. I think this may be an issue with the Norton rebates too.

I know for a fact that Norton doesn't care about this, I've gotten $10+ more than the product price several times in the last few years.
simon123 said: Any experience with this? Can we safely assume that this is the first rebate that you've ever done? Because no one else would read and believe the fine print, no less post it as a concern. Honestly, do you really think they'd be selling it at a price that would automatically invalidate the rebate???
And congrats on being the person who comes in hours after a thread has been created and discovers that they have found the reason why the deal is not valid.
I am currently using AVG free antivirus and Malwarebytes for spyware protection with Windows 7. Can someone help me to understand what will be the additional features or benifits in using Norton/Mcaffee/Kaspersky? Please do not ridicule. This is something I dont know.
