Great software. I already have one. Go for this if you need a simple and easy video editing software. Great for beginners and still have advanced features for experienced users.

do you know if this comes with photo editing ? (to edit digital pictures)
i have an old version (with disc) of roxio Creator to cover me on the competitor rebate for VideoStudio. Anyone know if the Microsoft PictureIt disc that came with my old PC will work. It states "For distribution with a new PC only" on the disc and it's a very non-descript looking disc.
Or try Corel's Photo Impact. The download version is available at Corel.com Linky If you use coupon code IMPACTFALL (all caps), you get an additional $10 off, bringing the full version to $9.99. No rebates to mess with, no program needed to upgrade from.
Picked it up in-store for $59.99 (Fry's Wilsonville, OR) and filled out the rebates I printed from the site. Great deal and the software appears to be much easier to use than Adobe's. Thx!

I can't access the PDF to check myself.

Live and learn, but what's the point of ordering online from Fry's for instore pick up and providing your credit card, if you show up the next day only to find out you didn't actually pay for the product and the sale price has expired. I'm sure I missed something, but they need a more obvious MUST PICK UP IN STORE TODAY notice during the process. Ugh.
Ugh, was just filling out the rebates when I noticed that they actually charged me $74.28 instead of $69.99. No idea where they got the $74.28 from.
Normally, I would've noticed something like this, but, the cashier forgot to ring up my software with the rest of my stuff, so I got pulled aside when I tried to leave with the software without paying for it. I was just happy to get out without any cavity searches.

IamN41 said: Dunno why I got red on my question about rebate reliability. Seems like a reasonable question.
Here is another reasonable question: What other software do they accept as proof of competitive upgrade?
Is there a list somewhere?
Eligible customers must own one of lhe following producls: Pinnacle studio, Adobe Premiere Elements, Sony Vegas Movie Studio or roxio Creator

Could that be the sales tax? Since you went the B&M route...
