How do you get the subscription refund, is the $10 code they send a credit that can be used anywhere? In regards to the Wired Magazine Refund.
You have to write a letter to the company and request a refund. So you have to factor in a stamp and the hassle of writing a ltter to the publishing company. Last time they sent me a check in a couple months.
It's just like filling out a rebate form. Some people will send in rebates for a few dollars; some people won't.
does anyone know if Amazon will be offering CashBack this friday? i think bing never have done it, but i thought FW used to have 2% or something like that too.
agentpt5 said: can the filler be anything or does it also has to qualify for the discover promo?
Filler to hit $50 has to be from "select products sold by Amazon.com in Apparel, Electronics, Software, Video Games, and Computers". I used a cheap network cable, now out of stock, but other filler items are available for a buck or two (I looked for audio and computer cables).
Here is a good filler that qualifies for the Discover promo: http://www.Amazon.com/Maxell-109010-Minute-Normal-Audio/dp/B000001OKN/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=electronics&qid=1259211145&sr=1-4
Here is what I got of using this promo, it's no limit of usage
Wester Digital 640GB for $40 Wii Remote + Motion Plus Black + Mouse Pad filler for $40 Wii Remote + Motion Plus White for $40 Guitar Hero 5 Wii for $58.99 (-$10 previous wii game promo, -$20 off cancelling my previous GH5 order, -$10 discover prmot) with future $40 credit Wii Fit Plus for $40 (-$40 previous wii game credit, -$10 discover promo) 2 x Logitech MX1100 mouse for $30 after $20 MIRs
Any Free after rebate item that is around $35 that qualifies for this promo?

I think this deal is dead....I'm thinking it died at Noon EST, because nothing shows the $10 off anymore.
Looks like it's dead indeed. It was fun while it lasted... Got a couple of wii controllers, cable modem, webcam in separate orders. Spent about $200, saved $40 on things I would have gotten anyways but waited for 'the deal'. I still have a couple a combinations in my cart I would run if this is back. Also activated Amazon Prime while I was doing all this ordering so got 2-day free shipping during the trial month.
Dang...I was just about the pull the trigger on something. Had to come find this thread to see what I was doing wrong to not get the deal. Too bad.

I just ordered even though the Discover promotion is over and found it was $39.00 but don't know why. I got $13.00 promotional discount (25%). I paid with Discover and am Amazon Prime.
