^^ Can you suggest where to buy two wireless routers that would stream to each other at over 100mbs wirelessly through several walls in the house under $79?

Powerline adapter's performance vary from house to house but you can get 80-90 Mbit/Sec in ideal conditions. Two wireless routers do that?

powerline adapter performance is not guaranteed like wireless. On wireless side if you good quality wireless routers running with dd-wrt fw you have good chance of getting BW in access of 110mpbs. Plus you can get two routers for about $100 dollars if you follow FW .
Here are the best possible option in my opinion
1. Ethernet 2. MOCA (uses coaxial cable) 3. HPNA uses home telephone lines 3. 802.11n router to router bridging connection.( list of good dd-wrt routers 3. powerline
