TiVo’s subscriber count dropped by a sharp 314,000 for the quarter ending on October 31, 2009, the company revealed during its earnings call. TiVo’s total subscribers fell to 2.76 million.

Interesting.. I've thought about dropping my TiVo too but for the time being, I'll keep it. I got them to drop my rate to $9.95/mo and they threw in a free wireless adapter since I told them I was dropping my landline to save $.
What would be great is if this goes live and somehow the two deals stack: $99 TiVo + $169 TV - $100 bundle = $170 for TiVo and a small TV. The facebook page also doesn't specifically say which version of the box is eligible.
I don't know if this is appropriate, but I just bought an HDTV at BB yesterday and it's being delivered on Sunday. I have no use for the TiVo. If someone lives near Simi Valley and wants one than I'm sure BB will allow me to get one and you can meet me there and I'll get it for you.
