eBay has loads of panasonic refurbs for similar prices
panasonic uses AAA batteries for there house phones? That is the worst idea I can think of. How long do they last? 1 day?Alomost all use proprietary batteries. I had a 3 handset set of 2.4ghz unidens that needed batteries. WalMart wanted $14 each. I bought a new set of these Unidens with 6 handsets. I did buy batteries for the older ones on eBay from Hong Kong, 3 for $11. I then sold the old ones for $25.
