Considering this is the current gen 1080p plasma I think this is an excellent deal. The recent WalMart deal that was $788 and then $698 was the previous generation P46U1. The S1 has better contrast ratio 40,000:1 and an anti-reflective coating. At $70 less than people were excited to get the U1 for, I'd call this hot!

For those interested there is a Panasonic Plasma deal thread going over in deal discussions: HERE

me too... anybody have any info on this?

waiting on a link that actually still works...

when i looked at this deal late last night, it was available but only with free shipping, no option to pick up in a store. i'm guessing it is out of stock already as it's not showing up on the site anymore....

congrats to those who got it!

It appears that BB has completely eliminated (at ANY price) all 46" plasmas from their stores, including on line buying. I visited a local BB yesterday to confirm this, and the sales guy didn't know why, but I imagine it's to drive sales of the LCD Samsung's and Sony's they favor. Their on line computer does not show any availability of any 46" plasma. Only 42" 50" Panasonic plasmas are offered anymore. Stupid decision on BB part!
