$3.34 comes on the SIM card. An extra $25 bonus is added if you activate the SIM card by 1/12/2010. The $25 bonus, however, does not apply the same per-minute rate as a regular $25 refill (i.e. you get a lot less minutes because they base the bonus on a 33c/min rate).

does this work in countries outside US once opened?

Should work anywhere there is GSM coverage. Keep in mind that you will be roamingso higher cost/minute applies.

If you'd like to purchase this phone but don't want to drive to the store, there are a few options for free shipping.

Option #1 - Chase Rewards Plus Portal

If you have a chase credit card that qualifies for the rewards plus portal, login and select RadioShack
You'll receive 2pts per dollar / 10 off 85 purchase / and free shipping!

Option #2 - Over at sd they have a thread on this same item. Page 3 someone was nice enough to post a link that
you can click through for free ship. I've tried to post here, but it violates the referral policy.

hope this helps

u need to unlock it first

Tried adding one to my cart. Got this message:

The quantity you selected for the following item(s): Nokia 2720 for T-Mobile® exceeds the number of items that we have available for shipment. We have adjusted the quantity to reflect the number we have available.

Deal dead?

It's back in stock, I just ordered one... by following suggestion from lookingdeals to get free shipping, thanks!

Seems to be out of stock again, unfortunately. Although it shows up as being in stock, I can't add it to my cart.

Out for me too

anyone hoarders get one for me?

LOL.. My $0 order shipped. Anyone else get their tracking number?

i got that too

anybody got their phones yet ?

received mine today, anyone have a link to easily unlock this phone? would like to use for at&t

twinzfirst@SD said: U would have to call tmobile to get it unlocked free or buy an unlock code from eBay.

MJY6087@SD said: to get the phone unlocked for free, find a friend with t mobile who will call customer service for you and get it unlocked for free. Or I think some websites unlock nokias for free , YMMV

ellemdee@SD said: The person who is requesting the code has to be a customer in good standing for 90 days, TMO is usually very good about this. The phone itself doesn't have to be used first adn it doesn't have to be you who unlocks it. They can just tell CS that they're travelling overseas and need to unlock the phone or that they got a new phone and want to give their old phone (your Nokia) to a friend and they need it unlocked.

picked up both at RS B&M today. pretty quick and painless transaction. I paid $0

I haven't opened them; do they come with the $25 card? since I paid $0, I guess it would just be icing on the cake.
