I have been looking for Norton Ghost 15 for some time because Ghost 14 is not compatible to Windows 7. I found it today on Newegg.com at $20. It is really good price. It normally costs $59-$69. It is a good deal if you have Windows 7 and need better backup solution than the Windows backup utility. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832108456&...
I've been running Ghost 14 on my Windows 7 64-bit machine ever since build 7100 came out...and it's been imaging the main drive on a weekly basis without incident. However, I've never attempted to restore an image. What part of Ghost 14 doesn't work with Windows 7? I know during installation of Ghost there may have been a "known compatibility" alert, but that doesn't seem to have actually jinxed the program's operability. (Or will the joke be on me if I ever attempt to restore a drive?)

20 bucks is less than the upgrade price! Thanks OP !!
edit: FWIW-Can't upgrade anyway- "Norton Ghost 15.0 is a perpectual product so there is no upgrade from existing Norton Ghost 14.0. "

(Or will the joke be on me if I ever attempt to restore a drive?)I've been running 14 on the 32-bit Win7 and have actually restored the image a few times while playing around. Everything works fine so I have no idea what's incompatible either, but I'm probably still going to get Ghost 15.
I used Ghost 14 on My W7 also and don't see any problem yet. However, since Windows 7 keeps telling me it is not compatible, I though it is probably better to get an upgrade. Ghost 15 also has some new features, e.g., BlueRay support. Especially it cost only $20.
Norton Internet Security is sold with 3 licenses, which is handy because I've got 3 PC's to install it on. Apparently Ghost is a single license. I wonder why they don't sell it 3 per like NIS?
