Thats about as good a price as anyone's gotten on this set! Keep in mind that this is the current gen X1 series, a number of the deals in this price range have been on the older C1 series which has half the contrast ratio (15,000: vs. 30,000:1 on this one) and no AR coating.

I just purchased this via the promotion. I have some questions:
1) Will the instant discount void the CashBack?
2) I went to the Dell.com 20% bing CashBack via that link above (http://www.fatwallet.com/redirect/bounce.php?afsrc=1&mid=14411266&url=http://discoverbing.com/giftguides/merchants.html?fbid=5rLEpIKKaeh), went to the site via that way after entering the phrase and eMail address and then purchased the item. However, no where on the final confirmation page it says anything about bing CashBack. Did I do something wrong?
3) How long does it take to get the bing CashBack to show up on my account?

Tried 2 different PCs

Used Firefox and IE on each one.

Getting eBay and WalMart CashBack links, but NO Dell ones.

OK I got it to work.

Quick question:

I first created a bing account, logged into it, then went to Bing and got the 20% notification and selected my TV

Then I checked out and paid for the TV on Dell's website.

Logged into my bing account (for the first time) afterward and it asked me to:
1. add more info (it had my name and email, but needed my full address, etc.)
2. then told me that my CashBack account was set up
3. added Paypal as a payment method.

Did I need to do #1 above BEFORE making my purchase? I had the Bing account set up before making the purchase, but am now wondering if it wasn't "CashBack enabled" at the time, considering the message I saw in #2 above.

Am I OK? How long do I need to wait before asking Dell to cancel the order? When will I be 100% sure that I'm getting the CashBack because I want to cancel otherwise!!!

edit: just noticed this email that arrived in my inbox AFTER I created the bing account but BEFORE I made the Dell purchase... is this a problem????

i 2nd this question, because for eBay, paypal must be used.

as for your other questions, no bing will not show on the Dell page. it takes about 2 days for it to show in your bing account, you will get a comfirmation email and it will NOT void the instant discount.

Jumped on the deal with an AMEX to double the warrenty. Hope I get a bing email

I placed an order earlier this morning ~8am PST.
But still didn't get a confirmation email yet - order didn't show up yet when I check order status at Dell.

took a bit to find it but I went to the TV Section

DON'T use the screen size to find it

use the side menu for Panasonic and you'll find the tv - they removed it from the tv size different boxes on the tv page

The link I tried to post won't work but go through the tv section and use the side menu to get to Panasonic and you'll find it. They might pull it totally if they realize it's still available that way so don't wait.

I would suggest putting it in your cart if you're at all interested because its deliberate that they removed all of the panasonic tv's from the search and from the tv page where they have it broken down into sizes in the box links.
