Just dispached from Dell:

20% off any Dell Outlet Mini 10v Netbook! Enter code at checkout: KJC8Z8PGL2T83L. Only at Dell exp 1/29.

LINK to outlet inventory.

Quick Update: Keep checking back, especially at night. They load new inventory rather randomly, but I've seen most of that action in the mid-late evening Pacific time. I'm guessing that's because it's daytime overseas where their workforce is. But act fast:

"Limit 2/customer. exp. 1/29 or after the first 1,000 uses whichever is 1st. Online only. Coupon required at checkout."

thanks nice deal can get a 10v @ $210.
though I'm looking for a 6-cell if you can find one at this price I'd appreciate it.

6 cell $269. before dicount, starts on page 11.

Does this have hdmi output?
Doesnt say on the details, but when I google mini10, I saw some models that have it.

Thanks

thanks
though it seems only passion purple.
they tack on an additional $10 for a color that I can take to work

Dell Mini 10 Netbook has HDMI output;
Dell Mini 10v Netbook has VGA output.

Recertified/ Refurbished

Use caution, Dell outlet products are not what they used to be. I got one with no audio at all, not what you would expect from something that has been "refurbished".

Looks like the prices on these things haven't fallen too much over the last year. I bought my mini 10 about 8 mths ago at 179 before taxes and far as I can see it doesn't seem they've really done anything ground breaking with these newer models? (sorry if that sounded like a thread crap, that was not my intention)

what's the dif between these 10v's and the old 1010's besides the output and the ram upgradability.

Got an Ice Blue with the 6-cell and Windows 7 Starter for $220. (Plus tax 'cuz I'm in CA. )

BTW, I used to hear a lot of flack about Win7 Starter. From what I've gathered, the only things missing are Aero, the ability to change the wallpaper and the Win7 media manipulation stuff (which you really can't do effectively on a netbook anyway). A lot of that flack has died down.

o yeah, one thing i can vouch for though for anyone who hasn't bought anything from Dell outlet before.
My mini 10 came in virtually new condition (at least I couldn't tell the dif).
My studio 17 refurb (not S&D) i ordered at the outlet had a few very minor nicks near the touchpad area but the slot load dvd drive fizzled out on me after a few months. just FYI.

I can confirm that. I'm running win7 on this mini 10 right now. It boots fast and runs beautifully. much better than it did with winXP.

Where can you find the drivers for XP and Vista?

awwwwww, "unable....to...add...to...cart"....drowning in the FW effect!

VincentN said: Where can you find the drivers for XP and Vista?

Why do you think I posted it AFTER I bought it?

My outlet 10v that I got in July is about to go to the shop for a problem with the usb ports. Been very satisfied and will continue to be if they can fix it promptly.

I paid paid 245 + tax for a 6 cell.

Coupon is only for 10v, not 10.
I was hoping for HDMI output

Yes, as I found out....

Made my buys....

It's really weird in that the selection seems to change minute by minute.
Twice I had selected one shortly after viewing the available machines, and it said
Sorry someone already reserved that one... etc..!
Then, I go back to select another/different machine, and there are a number of different
machines/colors available- just within a few minutes!

People put one in their cart, it kills it until they buy or 15 minutes and no buy.
Then it is back available.

Thanks OP
$215.73 shipped with TAX for a purple 10V for the wife.
Now maybe she will STOP "borrowing" my black one.

Got my black one last year for $175, with some type of price mistake I think.
Comes in a generic box, but it looked brand new and has been working great ever since.

Going to keep watching. Saw a couple popup at $205, but when gone when I answered the security question.
Would make it under $170.. nice

only XP - none with 7 Starter - I have a few ultimate and Professional licenses. Can these be installed replacing XP ?

$19 for inhome service is worth it IMO

slim pick-ens right now

yesidonoitall said: $19 for inhome service is worth it IMO

The techs that Dell farms it out to won't be able to repair much on these in the field.

muoot said: slim pick-ens right now

wow. four left now

If it's not under $200 shipped, it's not hot. I think these we're like $179 shipped before so how this is hot is beyond me.

argh - all of a sudden a bunch showed up, but now all gone again... peeps keep on adding to the cart...
