Costco.com Deal Of The Day MotoFloorŪ Garage Flooring $89.99 after $30 OFF
A standard one car garage will require approximately 4 boxes of MotoFloor flooring and a standard two car garage will require approximately 8 boxes of flooring.
Pretty expensive still for my 2 car garage (9 boxes) I have to think about some no-chip type garage floor paint from HD. Subtotal: $809.91 Estimated S&H: $127.80 Estimated Tax: $86.75 Estimated Total: $1,024.46
My cars leak oil and spit other fluids occasionally. I'll pass on this and after I get the leaks fixed I'll go woth a good epoxy paint and sealer. This deal isn't really that hot IMO. Not to thread crap but $1K for a 2 car garage is still expensive. That doesn't include the edge trim pieces either. They make some rounded edge parts for the front where the door is and also for the sides if you want.

99% of those paint kits are absolute garbage. I work in a related chemical industry very close to those manufacturers and their products are not durable. The only thing you can do is go back, complain and call the paint manufacturer. Best case scenario they give you more paint so that you can re-do it. That's it. Pretty sad...
This stuff is junk. It looks much better in pictures than in person. I bought some for my garage a few years ago and immediately returned it! I took one piece out of the box (it comes packed in 4 squares already together) and put it under the kickstand of my motorcycle. The kickstand started to compress the plastic. This stuff is more plastic than rubber. Stay away at any cost IMO.
Any home with old oil stains my not work well, but I had fantastic results with the $50 epoxy kit from HD or Lowes. I do lots of welding and metal work and amazed how it holds up. Incidental sparks and tools dropping do not nick it. It does eventually give out under extreme duress, but I'll be happy to apply a new coat every 5 years.
PS- Epoxy coatings are slippery when wet. I will get the friction additive the next time I re-coat my floor.
I would check with http://www.bigfloors.com. The price is comparable and the shipping is free and no tax for most. The nice thing about Costco is the return policy as it includes return on shipping. But cost per Tile, BigFloors.com is a better price. They will send free samples as well.
I am not crazy about the hard plastic tiles. I would have to put an underlayment down for the noise and that seems like a big hassle. Plus I am concerned with moisture collecting under the tile. It could be a real mold issue. The other option is the soft PVC mats\tiles. The mats are cheaper and come in one piece.
The Epoxy is great if you do it when you first move in but after that it is too much of a hassle, especially in a working garage. I bought the paint many years ago and time got away and now my floor is just too hard to prep right.
I don't think this is a killer deal on these tiles. They have these type of tiles and PVC tiles at WalMart and if they have 20% BCB again, I may jump in on that deal for the PVC tile by Norsk......

I have had an epoxy floor in my garage in black and white squares for about 9 years but its coming up now. It cannot seem to stand the snow and ice dropping off the car in the winter time. Of course, that snow and ice contains all manner of things the city puts on the streets to melt the ice etc. Jerryebayuser98 said: What about the epoxy flooring? I heard that is a good product.
