I have a few quesitons about this. It says case of 24 (3 packs). I assume that it means that there are 24 of these soup units with 3 packs in each, is that correct? And, if so, does that mean there are three miso soups in each unit for a total of 72 soups? Or do you use all 3 packs for one serving? The reviews on Amazon for this are all 5 stars (4 reviewers) but I'm not sure what they mean by the 3 packs thing. And Amazon uses the word "pack" to mean each unit and "pockets" to denote that there are three of something in each "pack". Kind of confusing to this noobie (I ordered it anyway, but just curious what all this means). Great deal regardless! Any help?

After doing some more research, it looks like each "unit" has three servings (packets) in each for a total of 72 soups. So, a pretty good deal, but each serving has a ton of sodium, 790mg, or 33% of your daily allowance.
Yes it is 3 x 24 packs. I just got my seaweed soup(same brand) from shnoop deal. it is tasty. made in japan and no expire date (which is odd). it does have msg though.

Yes it does have total 72 packets of soup.
Each packet makes one serving, and one serving is about a cup (3/4 cup to be exact).

I can't wait to try this one.
What was the expiration date on the soup from the previous deal. I think that was a big concern with alot of folks.
Nevermind, just read this on snoop: This Kikkoman Instant Tofu Spinach Miso Soup has a manufacturing date of June, 2008 and has a maximum shelf life of two years from manufacturing date, as prescribed by the manufacturer.

That's a lot of soup to drink before the 6/10 expiration date!
