Frys has an HD version for 80-20(MIR). I bought an unopened unit but it didn't work properly. It would record for a few minutes but then shut down for no reason. After the shut down it would not come back up for a long time. Weird. Returned.
I bought one of these a year ago and was VERY disappointed with the audio quality. The video looks great, but the microphone only picks up things within about 5 feet.
I've owned one of these for over a year and have been very happy with the quality and performance. Recently bought one of the HD models and am happy with that, too. The HD camera does give you a better picture quality, but the file sizes are also much bigger.
